July 24th Blogger Sentiment Poll
Financial bloggers remain slightly more bearish than bullish after the DJIA registered a gain of 1.20% last week. While the bears still outnumber the bulls, the bearish levels did drop from the prior week. This reading is also well below the extremely high number of bearish respondents to the AAII sentiment poll which saw its highest levels since February 2003. So far we have yet to see any herd panicking by participants, even as tensions and uncertainty remain high. We all knew bloggers were level-headed anyways right??
Next week we will begin charting the historical numbers and comparing them to the S&P 500 weekly performance.
We welcome Market Talk with Piranha, Wishing Wealth, Trader Tim, Trade King, Quant Investor, and James Altucher to the Blogger Sentiment Poll this week.

Since the blogger poll asks whether the market will be higher in one month, it is not necessarily comparable to the AAII poll, which asks whether the market will be higher in six months.

I would be interested in participating in this poll. I am a fund manager that runs a non-profit organization dedicated to the stock market along with an investing based blog. Please email me when you get a chance.
Blog looks great by the way, nice flow of information.
Best Regards,
