In our screen of winning and losing streaks on the S&P 500, we found that BBT is currently down 5 days in a row. The more interesting fact is that this has happened to BBT 10 times in the last 3 years, and on every occasion, the stock has reversed and been up on the sixth day for an average gain of 96 bps.
