Paul, it would be more interesting if the "best performers YTD" didn't include acquisitions, since those are not going to repeat their torrid YTD performance the rest of the year -- at least not with those ticker symbols.
The number of acquisitions (MDCC, STTX, WEBX) in the Top 10 does show what a strong bid there has been underneath equity valuations.
