Alcoa (AA) kicks off first quarter earnings season tomorrow after the close. Below we highlight the company's earnings reports since the start of the bull market and break them up into earnings beats and misses. As shown, when the company beats earnings, the stock typically gaps higher and comes in during regular trading hours. When the company misses, the stock typically gaps down and then reverses higher from the open to close.
