The S&P 500 is up 12.5% or 131 points from the low on August 26th. We analyzed the index members to see which had the largest impact.
AAPL, XOM, ORCL, GE and SLB had the most positive impact on the index's climb. The top 10 leaders by index points contributed over 22% to the total rally.
Dividing the index into sectors: technology, energy and financials were the biggest contributor to the S&P's 131 point rally.
